Today’s review features the Body Vibe x Star Wars Jedi Order symbol necklace. Released several years ago, this necklace is still one of my favourite Star Wars jewelry designs – subtle, classic, with a touch of bling. The Jedi are a central part of the Star Wars universe, so I love to see the Jedi Order symbol available alongside the usual Rebel and Empire designs.
The necklace is priced at US$29.97 to US$36.00 each, and is available from several Amazon sellers (shipping rates/policies vary by seller – international customers can use a mail forwarding service if required).

The necklace came packaged in a black coardboard gift box, with hinged lid. The outside of the box is black, with the Star Wars logo printed in white on the top and sides. The underside of the box features the Disney and Star Wars logos, along with the manufacturer information – this necklace is made by Body Vibe. The inside of the lid features artwork of Kylo Ren and First Order stormtoopers as seen in The Force Awakens.
Inside the box, the neckace is secured to a cardboard insert with a satin fabric surface. The insert has the Star Wars logo printed in silver, and also notes the necklace is made from Stainless Steel. The necklace is held in place by the chain passing through two slots in the top of the insert card, with the rest of the chain tucked away behind it.
The Jedi Order Symbol necklace features a cut-out pendant of the Jedi Order symbol, with a large clear Cubic Zurconia stone set in the center. The pendant is hung from two silver-tone chains, attached on either side to the pendant. The silver-tone Stainless Steel has a gorgeous shiny gloss finish. I tend to associate Jedi with silver rather than gold, as most Jedi lightsabers have a silver-tone finish – so the colour works well for this design.
The cut-out design is very crisp and clear, even down to the fine points – though these are a little sharp, so I would avoid wearing this necklace with fine/delicate fabric items. The central spike of the design is lower than the tops of the wings, so it wouldn’t work well as a standard pendant design with a hanger ring at the center top. I love the two-chain design for this necklace, it holds the pendant in place and doesn’t clutter or alter the central lightsaber design.
The Jedi Order symbol has always been one of my favourite Star Wars logos. The design resembles a lightsaber, with a star shaped ‘shine’ design around the lightsaber hilt, and surrounded by wings. In this necklace version, the lightsaber part of the design features a clear Cubic Zurconia stone – which is a perfect decorative touch for jewelry. The CZ stone resembles a shining Kyber crystal, held in the center of a Jedi lightsaber – the 6-pronged star design around the lightsaber dates back to classic 1977 Star Wars poster artwork by the Hildebrandt brothers.
This symbol is used to represent the Jedi Order era as seen in Episode I to III – but it wasn’t actually used in the prequel films, it appeared in ‘expanded universe’ sources like books and comics. It become more recognised when it was used in the animated series The Clone Wars, most notably on the shoulder armour worn by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. It was exciting to see it appear as part of the ‘Jedi Texts’ in The Last Jedi, finally cementing its place in the film series.
The back of the pendant has a brushed finish (not gloss like the front), and has the standard Lucasfilm copyright text etched in very small print. The text also notes the necklace is made from Stainless Steel.
The necklace is advertised as being 18″ in length, with a further 2″ length of adjustment chain. When measured in a straight line (clasp open), the necklace measures approximately 46.5cm in length (including clasp), while the wider-link adjustment chain extends this to approximately 52cm in total length. The clasp is a standard ‘lobster claw’ style jewelry clasp.
This necklace is a beautiful rendition of the Jedi Order symbol. The addition of a CZ stone is a gorgeous touch, the Kyber crystal shining in the center of the lightsaber. While I love the classic Rebel Alliance symbol, I am so happy to see more and more Jedi themed jewelry and accessories – the Jedi are central to the Star Wars story, and deserve to be celebrated with wonderful designs like this!
