In early January four new Star Wars women’s tops were added to the Disney Store website. My favourite was the foil logo tee made by Mighty Fine, and not wanting to miss out, I quickly placed my order. I have a weakness for clothing with that vintage style logo, and combined with the foil I knew I had to have it. I paid US$24.95, ordering the size small.
The top is described on the Disney Store website as 60% cotton, 40% polyester – but the printed information at the neckline on the shirt says ‘50% polyester, 25% cotton, 25% rayon’. The fabric is lovely and soft, with a good drape for this casual dolman-style cut. The holographic foil is fantastic and shiny in person – though I would certainly treat it with care to avoid damaging the print. It looks stunning in sunlight, with it’s bright holographic rainbow effect – you will certainly be noticed! The colour of the shirt is more of a very dark gray in person, though it photographs black. This size small shirt measures approximately 48cm across the chest, the same straight across the lower hem (side seam to side seam). Such a fantastic t-shirt, which is still available in all sizes (s – xl) on the Disney Store website.
