I was a bit surprised to see that Loungefly didn’t have a booth at Celebration Anaheim. Their on-going collection of Star Wars handbags and wallets has been fantastic, and I was keen to check out the recent releases in person. While exploring the dealer section of the exhibitors hall I found booth #1045 ‘Bags and Bricks’, that was selling Loungefly bags (and Star Wars Lego). They had a good range of Loungefly X Star Wars items, and seeing a few wish list items in person has confirmed my desire to buy them. By the time I found the booth I had already spent a little more than I had planned (suspected that might happen). So while I didn’t purchase any Loungefly items at Celebration, it was great to see someone had stock on hand for convention attendees in Loungefly’s absence.
One particular item that I appreciated being able to see in person was the black/white Stormtrooper with roses bag. I’m not usually drawn to ‘sugar skull’ or ‘tattoo’ styles, but I really liked that bag – and the matching wallet. I may end up buying those on-line soon – not that I needed more Loungefly x Star Wars items on my wish list! I already knew I loved the 3D Darth Vader crossbody and Stormtrooper crossbody bags, but it was great to be able to compare them in size to the matching coin purse designs.
