Star Wars Weekends are coming soon at Disney World in Orlando, and for those of you lucky enough to attend, there will be lots of great Star Wars fashion available to buy. Her Universe will be there with a special boutique inside Disney’s Hollywood Studios, announcing today they will be bringing most of their recent collection, including the popular (and currently sold out) lightsaber skirt and AT-AT t-shirt! These items are not available on-line at the moment – and some items like the pin up dresses are only available in a handful of sizes. I hope Her Universe adds more stock to their website for fans who can’t attend the Weekends. Together with the collection that was released at Celebration Anaheim, they will also have the new women’s version of the Sabine hooded top, which is definitely on my wish list!
Every weekend from May 15th to June 14th, Disney World will be filled with Star Wars fun and events, with attendees wearing their favourite Star Wars outfits. Even Disney is joining in the fashion fun, launching the website StarWarsStyle.com with ideas for character themed outfits, and even a competition. Sadly the competition is only for US residents (so I can’t enter), but I can’t wait to see photos from the events.
Also available at Star Wars Weekends will be the new range of Dooney & Bourke Star Wars handbags, prices range from US$98 to US$448. Using the same pattern as the earlier RunDisney exclusive handbags, this range includes new handbag styles.
