In early November Macy’s added a new range of women’s Star Wars dresses to their website – including this Star Wars logo tank dress. The dress is made by Hybrid, and is still available at Macy’s in all sizes (XS to XL). Originally priced at US$44.00, I paid US$19.99 during a sale.
The dress is made from 100% cotton (t-shirt weight), with some stretch. The fabric has a black weathered style – the tag notes to wash this dress in cold water before wearing, and that it will continue to fade and become softer with each wash. This vintage feel works so well with the front print – a purposefully ‘cracked’ yellow Star Wars logo. The dress has a tank top style, with a small band of elastic through the waist and a flared skirt. I bought mine in size XS – it measures approximately 36.5cm across the chest (underarm to underarm), approximately 29cm across the waist, and approximately 49cm from waist to hem (down the front). I love the casual vintage feel of this dress – sometimes all you need is a classic Star Wars logo.
