Gamestop has begun adding the Love And Madness range to their website! The range so far includes six items – Star Wars crawl wrap bracelet, Millennium Falcon silhoutte necklace, Stormtrooper silhouette necklace, Princess Leia chain necklace, Dancing R2-D2 necklace, and the 2-pack of gold and silver metallic tattoos. The preview photo from Gamestop also shows several other items not yet showing on the website, like the hair clips – but considering the range officially launches on May the 4th, I expect to see more available online and in stores tomorrow.
The items on the website are listed as ‘currently unavailable online’, but I assume this is because they aren’t available to buy until tomorrow – I guess we have to wait and see. Unfortunately Gamestop does not ship internationally, so I’m hoping the range sold at Thinkgeek (owned by Gamestop) will be the same, so overseas fans can also purchase their favourite items from the collection. *update – some of the items on the Gamestop website are now available to purchase online.
It’s interesting to note that the Star Wars opening crawl wrap bracelet is priced at US$29.99 each – this is cheaper than the one available direct from Love And Madness (priced at US$50.00 each). While I can’t confirm, I have heard that the version sold at Gamestop is not real leather, and that the metal plates are gold-toned, rather than gold-plated – this would account for the lower price point. While I personally don’t mind leather, I know some fans do not wish to purchase leather products, so it would be nice to have a vegan version available.
