Our local convention Armageddon Expo was held here in Auckland, New Zealand this past weekend, and I had a great time. I finally got to meet a Queen of Naboo – Queen Apailana, who was played by Keisha Castle-Hughes in Episode 3. As a big fan of all things Naboo, I’m really happy to add her autograph to my collection 🙂
While licensed Star Wars fashion items are usually rare to find here in New Zealand, I found out some very exciting news – one of my favourite NZ geek stores Mighty Ape is now a stockist for Body Vibe! I had noticed that the last time I checked the Body Vibe wholesale website, the countries they can supply now included Australia and New Zealand – with the US and Canada as the only others! While I already own most of my favourites from the first wave of Body Vibe x Star Wars stock they had, I eagerly bought the recent lightsaber dangle earrings. Needless to say, I’ll be watching closely for more additions to Mighty Ape’s range of Star Wars jewelry.
